For me, stress seems to be a trigger, so the more I manage my stress, the more likely I am to be symptom free. I do not test positive for Lyme anymore however, I've been told by some that doesn't always mean that I'm Lyme free.Rachie-Babehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14940450374383434566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27442159.post-57061993936875276282012-06-01T21:09:29.211-07:002012-06-01T21:09:29.211-07:00hi,i have been having my knee drained of alot of l...hi,i have been having my knee drained of alot of liquid sice 7 years, every month, then a shot of cordizone follows. i know i cant go on like this. i have joint pain everywhere, but not all the time, the dr said im a rare case, as was diagnosed with ra 16 years ago, but have no ra factor in my blood, or any damage to my joints. i guess this is good, but i know theres something wrong with me, that the doctors just cant see, well they dont really care i guess! im so happy i found this site, to understand there are people out there with the same problem! its not normal i think to have my knees drained every month? i cant continue to take cordizone shots like i have been? im 32 years old! any feed back would be very helpful! thank u! francesca from switzerlandAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27442159.post-53023155509153100442012-05-04T14:29:26.175-07:002012-05-04T14:29:26.175-07:00I've been told that I have Ricketssia Mooseri,...I've been told that I have Ricketssia Mooseri, but I don't know if I also might have lyme. My knees have been swollen for 4 months now, the left one more intense. Can't bend them, it feels like everything inside is tearing apart when I bend. Did that accidentally the one day when I wanted to pick something up, and it was the most terrified pain ever. Are you still struggling with your knee?Anonymoushttp://www.lymedisease.co.zanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27442159.post-33319070567564064872008-05-30T14:26:00.000-07:002008-05-30T14:26:00.000-07:00My son was 3-4 yrs. old when he got sick,(fevers, ...My son was 3-4 yrs. old when he got sick,(fevers, chills, nausea, rashes, headaches, ear infections, knee pain, tiredness, etc.) For months we visited the pediatrician, even changing pediatricians, and finally getting a lyme disease test done that came back positive. He did a month of antibiotics, semed better for many months and then began to get sick again. Had another lyme test done, negative result, as were the next 10 over a 5 yr period.By this time he was very ill with many of the symptoms I mentioned earlier plus more including heart murmur, enlarged spleen, bone, muscle and immune system situations, severe asthma spending many weeks in the hospital in oxgen tents, breathing treatments & oral steroids when he did not respond to the nebulizer that we kept with us always.Positive test and treatment of long term antibiotics were done with a doctor belonging to the Lyme Diseaese Assoc. of N. J. which gave him his life back. For the first time since he was 3-4 yrs. old he played ball games and normal childhood stuff. This is 3 yrs. later and he is having knee problems ,, I pray it has nothing to do with Lyme.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27442159.post-49316949691476680242007-09-01T08:51:00.000-07:002007-09-01T08:51:00.000-07:00Healthy one--Thanks for stopping by! My dr.'s do not believe what's happening has anything to do with Lyme. I'm not sure what I believe. All I know is that I'm 28 years old and have times where I can't walk. That is NOT how my life is supposed to look! I'm in the process of meeting with a new dr. so I can get a second opinion!Rachie-Babehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14940450374383434566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27442159.post-46320507000002657492007-08-31T06:27:00.000-07:002007-08-31T06:27:00.000-07:00hello - i found this blog thru a google. i am in t...hello - i found this blog thru a google. i am in the middle of all of your stories. four weeks ago, i went to my chiropractor/kenesiologist with a hot, swollen leg. i also felt crummy and feverish at night, but my partner said that i did not have a fever. my chiro decided it was a muscle tear. the electric stimulation treatment really helped reduce the swelling and stiffness. a week later the swelling was concentrated in my knee and i felt really pale and lethargic. i went to a chinese herbalist/accupuncturist who gave me herbs that immediately made me feel better (color back in my face) and accupuncture for a 'torn ligament'. then after continued pain and swelling in the knee, i went to an ortho surgeon who hasn't figured it out yet. mri and x-ray rule out anything structural. the reumatoid arthritis and lymes tests aren't back yet. a freaked out when i read the medical web site about reumatiod arthritis. i really don't want that!! also, i don't look forward to weeks of antibiotics for lymes, but prefer it to a chronic disease. two summers ago i was diagnosed with rocky mountain spotted fever after a hike in the rockies and took anti-biotics for a month. maybe this is a relapse?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27442159.post-1153230687680966892006-07-18T06:51:00.000-07:002006-07-18T06:51:00.000-07:00Thanks!
