In other news. . . did anyone see the thing on the news tonight about the Puppy mills? Ugh. So sad. I just want to rescue them all. Hmm. . . .One bed room apartment. Two scorpions. One hedgehog. No one will notice a few rescued dogs, right?!

I also have (had) a pet hedgehog! Hedgewick woke from his winter sleep and lived with our cats for a while. he was hungry and not in good condition. However he (or she) improved rapidly and eventually wandered off - probably to eat the hundreds of slugs and snails in our garden.
