Holey Moley I got an offer!!!!!

Okay, so if you've been reading lately, you'll know that I have interviewed for a new position, only about six months into my other position that I just took. Not really sure why I did this, but I did. Anyhoo. The job is in Wausau (only a few blocks from my house, versus, the 39 miles I drive one way every day) and pays more than what I'm currently paid. So, now I'm going to be an even bigger jerk and take the offer. Wish me luck as I talk to my employers when I return from being gone 10-14 days. . . . however long it takes for me to get over this MONO garbage.

WOW! Yay for you on getting the offer!!!

I know how you must feel because I once taught at a school and then renewed my contract (this was a private language school). Only three months into my new contract, another school asked me to teach for them and they offered better benefits, hours, and a whole bunch of other things that made me decide to leave the school I was at. To make a long story short, I was really worried about this decision being "unethical" and that I was screwing over the other school (plus, I was finishing before my new contract was even up). In the end, your health, happiness, peace of mind and well being are what matters most. You need to do what is best for yourself.

I'm excited to hear about what transpires next! :) Hope you feel better soon. Mono totally sucks!

C--

You ALWAYS seem to know EXACTLY what I need to hear. I have GOT to learn to take care of ME. I'm getting there. . . .but it's a slow road.

Oh Rach- Don't feel too bad because wherever you are YOU DO GOOD WORK! You're such a lovely person. IT couldn't be Montessori? Could it?

Ms Mamma!!!!

You are such a gem. Thank you so much for those kind words. I'm not accepting at the Montesorri--although I actually did interview for a director position there and was declined because the other person who interviewed had more direct experience with that sort of a position.

You're more than welcome to stop over with some tea. I'd love that! My place is messy (and frankly, so am I). Really, really, really messy, but you're more than welcome to drop by. I promise I won't breathe on you. ;-)
