Yes. . I'm back!

Well, I'm back from Chicago. I blogged about my trip on my teacher site, if you'd like to know who I saw at the conference. I have no idea how people make it in Chicago. Wow. . .that place is EXPENSIVE. I recently finished a book called, Nickel and Dimed (NOT) getting by in America, by Barbara Ehrenreich. If you have not read it, read it.

I'm a pretty friendly person, but this book made me extra conscious of being kind to others. Especially those in the service industry.

Well, I'm planning my trip to Chicago for the NAEYC conference. I forgot to include parking in my travel reimbursement request. Ugh. Oh well, I'm thinking I'm going to try and use the bus as much as I can! Whoo-hoo!!!!!
