A couple of months before my wedding, Hubby, Cutie #1, and Cutie #2 presented me with a "tractor." Well this "tractor" of mine is now pushing about 11 months old and is just sweet as can be. My "tractor," as you can see, is a little buckskin colt named Legend. It was just about the cutest thing ever as Cutie #2 tried to convince me that Hubby-to-be had bought me a tractor!
Legend was my wedding gift from my new family and what a gift he has been. He's such a sweet little colt, it's almost a shame that I'll need to get him gelded soon. He's done such a wonderful job with having his feet picked up, blankets draped over his back, and even a light Pony saddle set on him. He ties well, leads nicely, and walks in and out of trailer with ease.
I am looking forward to lots of ground work over the next year so that my first ride will be pretty event-less. I sold all my horses (and equipment) during college, so I will have to buy a new sursingle and extra longe line so I can do some ground driving. This winter, we'll start some longeing work and then start the ground driving in the summer.

If you need some tack and stuff, let me know. I have so much extra junk that I never use. Extra headstalls, bits, cinches, etc. I may even have an extra surcingle if I dig deep enough. Make a list of what you want/need and send it to me and I'll see if I have any of that stuff to send to you.

:-) Awe--thanks!!! We've got a good selection of head stalls and bits--but I might take you up on that surcingle if you've got an extra. :p)
