The hunt for a new laptop

Okay folks, the Ph.D is about ready to get in full swing. I even have my own blog about the Ph.D experience. Why? Well, I'm addicted to blogging. Hardy, har, har. Anyhoo. . .since I'm going to spending some time writing, I "need" a new laptop. I got rid of my other one after I finished my Master's degree thinking I wouldn't need one again. Well. . .here I am. Anyway--I'm looking for ideas and suggestions. Help me out here, people!
